Diana goes Underground - PREMIERE sooooon!
We are rehearsing Offenbach's Orpheus in der Unterwelt.

Sooo — I’m currently rehearsing Orpheus in the Underworld (Offenbach) in the beautiful and impressive Pfullinger Hallen (Germany), surrounded by gorgeous frescoes and a wonderfully kind company, organized by Opera Laiblin.
Among the soloists are several current and former students of Ulrike Sonntag (my former teacher in Stuttgart), so I’m feeling quite nostalgic being here.
To top it off, I even bought some goat butter today for my breakfast spelt semolina porridge — something you can only find at Kaufland, and which is a defining taste from my Stuttgart study years.
I’ll be playing the goddess Diana — rebelling against the dull life and food of Olympus and heading down to the Underworld to party with the other rebellious gods.
